Eileen’s third album, 'Come The Storm,' was recorded after she returned home to the US in 2003. It was written in 2004 - 2005, mostly on Martha’s Vineyard where Eileen spent a winter in an atmospheric house once owned by the great early Americana painter Thomas Hart Benton, who numbered Jackson Pollock among his Vineyard drinking buddies. During that time Eileen taught herself to play the piano, which she uses for the first time on this album.
The album was recorded at the famous Long View Farm studios in North Brookfield, Massachusetts, where The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and Stevie Wonder have recorded. Eileen’s band featured local musicians and producer/guitarist Ian Hatton who has played guitar in The Honeydrippers (with Robert Plant and Paul Rogers) and Bonham.
The songs on Come The Storm feature themes of leaving home, coming back home, the state of the nation, love, regret and redemption.
'Come The Storm' was released in the UK on Banana Records, a subsidiary of Sony, in 2005. It received a US release in 2007. Judy Collins personally offered to put it out on her Wildflower label after Eileen had opened some shows for her.

"a no-holds outpouring of tragic beauty… the brutal hair-tearing passion of Nothing But Blue and Saffron & Ginger’s desolate melancholy are rarely heard" **** - Q
"A work of inspired beauty…a strong contender for album of the year"
– GET READY TO ROCK MAGAZINE
"The ability to marry catchy tunes to well-turned noir-ish lyrics remains, as does that voice, which can shift gears quickly from a lullaby to a roar. Good to have her back" – UNCUT
"quality writing and a silky smooth voice" - THE SUN
"Five tracks here are the best things she's ever done" - TIME OUT
"Rose has recorded an exceptional album that deserves to make her huge: 'Come the Storm' is a story of failed relationships, whisky hangovers and hope… with as much bite as P.J. Harvey" - BLOOMBERG
