5/28/2009 Tour Blog, Photos and MORE EURO SHOWS! Hello everyone, What a fantastic tour we've just finished. The crowd reaction was unprecedented and inspiring. In fact, we've been asked back for a the Charlotte St. Blues Club opening in London on June 11th. So we've added a few more UK shows which are listed on the home page. If you'd like to see the photos and read about about our tour adventures, check out the blog on MySpace. Some day, I'll up date this page to add a blog, message board, etc. But right now, MySpace and Facebook are still hosting my idle thoughts. We'll be heading to France, Italy and Germany for July - can't wait for that. And next week, we hit the studio in Nashville to make the new album with the Legendary Rich Gilbert on guitar and Nate 86 on drums. Then, it's off on tour in early Europe going, pretty much, everywhere. Check back here for all the details. I'll try to keep this as up to date as I can. Thanks for checking in. See you out there, ER & The Holy Wreck visit www.myspace.com/eileenrosemusic for more info

4/14/2009 Euro Tour May 2009 Greetings from Nashville. Spring, finally. Every year I think it's not going to come and that I'll never be warm again. Wrong, once again, but in a good way. I've had a female cardinal banging her little head against my bedroom window for weeks. I'm worried for her. She's at war with herself. Reminds me of someone... We've posted new tour dates for May. Heading to Europe again but this time I'm doing something a little bit different. The Legendary Rich Gilbert will be playing guitar, pedal steel and an assortment of various instruments - anything we can get on the plane, really. Also, the great Nate Stalfa will be playing drums and percussion - he's amazing, wait 'til you see him. I''ll be playing guitar, piano and a bit of tipple. But my adored and adorable nephew, Nicholas Giadone Ward, will be MIA for this run. That means no bass. Yeah. I met Jack White a few weeks ago and figured if he can do it, why not me? We have so much in common, you see. (I really did meet him - very nice guy and he looks just like Jack White). So, check the dates and come on out to see us if you can. Hey, new record in October. Isn't that great? Love, ER visit http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/pr... for more info

12/28/2008 Happy New Year! It's been a busy year - I'm not sure how many tour miles have been covered but it's in the thousands. We've met so many great people and have made some genuine friends along the way. We'll be seeing you all in 2009 as it looks like another European tour is in the making - including a return to one of my favorite venues in the world, The Paradiso in Amsterdam. We're opening for George Thorogood - he drinks alone, with nobody else - really looking forward to that one. Current news, I'm now in Nashville. I'm working closely with the wonderful Dan Hodges and the folks at Bicycle Publishing, focusing on writing and co-writes for the next few months. I feel very fortunate to be writing with a stellar list of talented and successful songwriters: Bleu, Greg Becker, Michael Flanders, to name a few. I'll let you know when a hugely successful country star decides to cut one of them (starry-eyed still, aren't I)? I'm also very excited to start working on the next record with the Holy Wreck - Nicholas, The Legendary Rich Gilbert and, I expect, a handful of Nashville folk who all make me look good. It's time I did my Nashville record - New York, London, Boston and Detroit have been covered. (When do we get to the Hawaii-based double album)? So, expect a new album at some point in 2009. I couldn't ask for better musicians and friends than I have with the Holy Wreck - how did I get so lucky? Based on our last year of touring, I think it's going to be a pretty special record. In addition to all that, I'll be releasing a few singles with a heavy focus on that crazy internet, downloading, viral thing which we've has been so successful for us this year. (Thanks again, Betty Boop). Much more on that later as I learn what the hell it all means. It's a good thing I have so many smart people around me or I'd still be selling homemade cassettes out of the back of a van. Not that there's anything wrong with that... Thanks to you all who have been with us this year. We've had some pretty spectacular, unforgettable times and I've been humbled, time and again, by the endless support and love from my management, Netty & Rob Turner, all the folks who have booked us, promoted us, housed us, bought records, sent photos and generally made us feel that what we do has value and meaning. I'm looking forward to more of the same in 2009. Happy New Year. Love, ER x

11/3/2008 That Was A Long One... And now we're home. So many cities, venues, hotels, strange cuisines, hilarious moments, broken vans, late nights, naps in motion and, mostly, endearing new people...our heads are spinning with it all. Good to be home, but what a ride we were on. Happy to say we've gotten bigger and better in Europe thanks to all those who've booked us, fed us, slept us, cheered us on and bought records. Don't quite know how to thank you all. It was an experience of a life time. Future plans: recording a new album this winter, a Nashville showcase, co-writes, US release for At Our Tables, new video and, of course, we'll be touring again because that's what we do. We'll be posting more video and photos from our super tour soon, but in the meantime, check out this clip (filmed in Germany by the wonderful Somer Abbass Yacoub) of our Legendary Rich Gilbert showing us a classic country lick and interviewing our very good friend (and most interesting music fan you could ever meet) Leonard from Berlin Guitars. (Rich really needs his own talk show...we'll see what we can do): visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQIW0bh7AZk for more info

9/13/2008 Bob Harris, Betty Boop and more on the tour Bob Harris, Betty Boop and more on the tour Just want to let you know that our radio session and interview with the great Bob Harris (couldn't meet a nicer guy) will air this Saturday night. We debuted two new songs, Sad Ride Home and All These Pretty Things (which got us a very satisfying and extremely low "woah" from Mr. Harris. Would love to know your thoughts on them too. There are show details and a video clip of one tired looking but happy Eileen Rose & The Holy Wreck here: http://www.bobharris.org/pages/default.asp Also, there is just no stopping that crazy Betty Boop. Our video is still going strong at just about 300,000 plays on YouTube and chart positions in various countries. If you haven't seen it yet, please have a look. And thanks to all of you for posting it and passing it on. We're well into our UK tour now and it's going great. We've become fans and friends of the Whybirds (you have to check them out). We also played with some of the folks from one of my favorite UK bands, The Storys. (That Steve sure can sing). We hope to play with them all again soon. Thanks to you all for coming to the shows, buying records and sending us your comments. See you at a show. ER & The Holy Wreck x

9/3/2008 $20 Shoes Betty Boop Video! Hi Everybody, Hope all is well in your worlds. Right now we're in Amsterdam, three weeks into our tour. It's been fantastic so far. We've played a couple weeks in Italy, then a week of shows in Sardinia. Our last gig there was in Porto Torres out side in a beautiful piazza. For the first time, ever, I managed to trip while rushing back to the stage for an encore (hey, the band were on fire, the crowd was fantastic and I was excited - grace abandoned me). I didn't know you could hit your head THAT hard and still live. However, it did give me my best rock and roll moment. We were joined on stage by Andrea Parodi, Max La Rocca and Bobby Ruggiu for our rave up version of Nessuno Mi Puo Giudicare which I belted out with blood streaming down my face. Anyone have any pictures? Send them through. I'd love to give one to my mom. Love at first sight between the Sardinians and the Holy Wreck, so we're heading back there on September 27th for their big blues festival. Bombafrau! Now the big news: Please check out this amazing new video for $20 Shoes. It's getting thousands of hits on YouTube right now and we're very excited. If you'd like to help us keep up the momentum, we'd be most grateful. So please feel free to send it on to your friends, add to your pages, post comments, share it on groups, blogs - you know, all that fancy modern stuff. And come on out to see us if you can. We head to the UK after Holland. Love to you all, ER & The Holy Wreck Here she is: visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ3c8TO9YMs for more info
